Bubble Tummy

Just when I thought I couldn't get any bigger, the baby grew again!! I still refuse to believe that I will be as huge as the pregnant women I see in stores and stuff, but I guess I have to get used to the idea that the baby still has a lot of growing to do. Here is a picture of me 3 weeks ago at 27 weeks pregnant. My sister and I took my mom to the tea room at Huntington Gardens for her birthday. I think I look exceptionally huge in this picture, but I guess that's really how I look! Except that my arms don't normally look that ugly, I'm not sure what's going on there.

In other news, my birthday came and went last week. I'm now the ripe old age of 26. Of course I've been saying I'm 26 for a few months now since Steve turned 26 in Jan and I just always see us as the same age. I had a nice time with my in-laws on my birthday and the next day we went to my parents. Steve experienced his first pedicure and manicure, and really enjoyed it too! I think I've created a monster. But at least it got me out of doing his nails for him.

In pregnancy news, everything is going well except that it is too darn hot here!! It's been 110 for a week and being pregnant in this heat is no picnic. 3 weeks ago I started getting dizzy spells, but my doctor isn't too concerned. I think I'm just getting too dehydrated or hot or something. But I haven't really been feeling that well the last few weeks. I hope it gets better, but since I'm now in my last trimester I have the feeling things will only get worse. Oh well, it will all be worth it in the end when we get to meet our baby Dietrich (who I'm sure is going to be a soccer player with all the kicking he does).
