Finals are Over!!

I am so happy to be through my first set of finals. There were tough, but I think I passed all of them. I don't think I have every studied so much in such a short amount of time before. It was insane!! But it all paid off. Now I have a few days off before starting back to class on Monday. I will be going to my parents house today, I haven't seen them in a while and I miss them. Other than that I will just be relaxing and catching up on sleep!
In other news, I am very excited that Gregory Maguire's new book Son of a Witch is coming out next week. It is the sequel to Wicked. My friend Beth got me hooked on his books and I have been waiting for this one. Hopefully I will have some time to read it, although it will probably take me a few months! I'll try and post my impressions.

FINALS!! AAAHHHHHH

Well, finals are almost here! Tomorrow I have Anatomy, Embryology and evidence based medicine. Tuesday I have Cell and Biochemistry and Wednesday I have Patient Diagnosis and Physiology. I don't feel ready at all!! I have spent the whole weekend studying but there is just so much to learn!
I'm really not that stressed out, no matter how the previous paragraph sounded. I know that God had taken me this far, so I know God will see me through these first tests. God didn't get me this far to see me fall flat on my face! I just didn't realize until this weekend how much there is to study. Note to self: Start studying after each lecture. Don't wait until right before the tests!!!

Studying

I really don't like to study. I never minded it in college, but now that I have been out of college for two years and have just started med school, I am realizing that I really don't like to sit down for three to four hours studying. Therefore, I haven't been. My first set of exams is the week after next and I really don't know what in the world we have been learning about. Something about the human body maybe? Or cells? I hope I will find the concentration and strength to start studying soon. But until then I will continue to procrastinate as I am doing now.
